The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), in partnership with Citicore Foundation, planted a total of 600 donated seedlings during a tree planting activity in Barangay Biaan, Mariveles on August 15, 2025.

The seedlings consisted of 300 soursop (guyabano) and 300 cashew trees, which are expected to provide future livelihood opportunities for the community.

The initiative was led by Citicore Foundation as part of its advocacy to promote environmental protection and sustain a greener environment within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

AFAB expressed its continued commitment to support environmental programs like this for the benefit of communities in FAB.
