
Employees and workers of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) recently underwent a training on how to be well-poised and wear a smile even during bad days amid adversities.
The two-day training sessions initiated by AFAB’s human resource division entitled “Project Smile: Service Starts with Me—Every day, Friendliness, Even on A Bad Day,” was aimed at strengthening service excellence among clients and stakeholders.
In its statement, the AFAB said the project will professionalize employees to maintain composure even under pressure while providing them with tools to strengthen communications and customer relations.
It also introduced the RATER Model which focuses on Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy and Responsiveness, “alongside the practice of effective listening, questioning, and response technique in daily interactions.
The AFAB added: “Project Smile embodies the agency’s belief that every employee reflects AFAB’s values and professionalism, consistency, service-oriented behavior are essential in building trust and satisfaction among clients and stakeholders.”
