The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) continues to strengthen its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives.

Members of the AFAB GAD Focal Team recently participated in the two-day 5th Investment Promotion Agencies – Gender and Development (IPA-GAD) Advocacy Forum held in Tagaytay City.

The forum gathered GAD focal persons and advocates from various IPAs nationwide to further advance efforts in mainstreaming gender perspectives. AFAB also presented its initiatives on GAD implementation. The agency reiterated its commitment to ensuring that policies and programs within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) uphold inclusivity and provide equal opportunities for all.
