Fifty farmers and fishermen from Balanga City underwent a two-day Agrineurship Training to apprise them of gender orientation, values formation and financial management.

The training program is part of Balanga City Mayor Raquel Garcia‘s “Serbisyong Mapagkalinga” targeting the farmers and fisherfolk sectors.

The participants were taught how to upgrade their “profession” through proper planning and were updated on the business side of agriculture and fishing. The industry has been attracting assistance from the local government for its immeasurable role in community progress and development.

Held at the Cupang West Multi-Purpose Cooperative office, the training session had supervising agriculturist Ronnie Lopez as trainor.
