Officials of Bataan-Baseco Joint Venture, Inc. (BBJVI) led by Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Jopet Inton visited recently the 300-hectare site in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
Inton toured executives of BYD and the Hexagon Group of Companies around the FAB facilities in Mariveles, for potential investment opportunity more particularly in port development project that will spur business climate.
The BYD is engaged in the manufacture of electric vehicles with branches nationwide. The Hexagon, on the other hand, also deals with cars with 78 years of service experience with 22 companies in 4 countries. The investment can possibly generate employment for local residents and thus a boon to the Freeport and to immediate community, observers claimed.
