Philippine Standard Time:

Health remains Gov. Garcia’s prime concern

The people’s health is still Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia‘s priority in maintaining good governance. He demonstrated this during the recent Provincial Health Board meeting where he regularly monitors the performance of Rural Health Units across the province.

At the said gathering, provincial health officer and staff, municipal health officers, provincial board members, municipal mayors, and RHU staff shared their takes on the Provincial Government’s health programs and protocols.

The Governor said the RHU reports filtered through different barangays (villages) are crucial in identifying gray areas that need more attention and constant follow up.

Also discussed in the said meeting was preparations for validation of 1Bataan Seal of Healthy Barangay 2026. Likewise, Gov. Joet announced that plans are now afoot for the forthcoming “Hataw Takbo 2026” Edition scheduled to start in Hermosa, Bataan.

The Governor said his administration will continue to reinforce and strengthen the health program to ensure good quality of medical services that every Bataaeno family deserves.
