Mayor Richie David supports chess tournament

The 2nd Mayor Richie David Chess Cup recently took place in Limay, Bataan drawing young and seasoned players from the municipality and even across the province and nearby areas. Limay Mayor Richie David, who personally visited the venue  bared support for the  event.

He also supports the development of the Limay Chess Park, a public space for enthusiasts to play and train. “We are strengthening chess in Limay through grassroots development. Hopefully, we can sustain and expand this program,” Mayor David said.

In the Open Division, AIM Pat Ferdolf Macabulos emerged as champion. Meanwhile, in the Kiddies Division, Calvin Jairus De Luna of Limay Elementary School clinched the top spot, with another Limay native, Anstrong Galilei Sundiam, securing third place.
