Morong Vice Mayor Dr. Chermaine Garcia-Sibug said during a recent consultation meeting with Sagip Pawikan Hatchery Adoption project that continued cooperation with LGU, private sector and local organizations  would strengthen “our resolve to preserve and protect the pawikan for the sake of present and future generations.”

In the said meeting, a memorandum of agreement was discussed with representatives from the Provincial Government of Bataan, LGU Morong, Sagip Pawikan Sitio Fuerte Association and AnoitizPower.

Morong, a coastal town known for its white beach and pristine water has been frequented by tourists who visit the Pawikan Conservation Center in Barangay Nagbalayong and the annual Pawikan Festival.
