Three hundred residents of Morong benefited from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program through the initiative of Bataan 3rd District Rep. Gila Garcia. The beneficiaries received ₱6,000 each during the TUPAD payout held at the Barangay Poblacion Covered Court on Wednesday.

The payment covered their services from June 29 to July 9 during which they performed various community-based tasks, including cleaning and declogging drainage canals, placing sandbags in flood-prone areas, and clearing roads in their respective communities.

Garcia expressed appreciation to DOLE and Morong LGU for their continued support and coordination in bringing livelihood opportunities to residents.

Garcia said she would continue supporting programs that provide livelihood opportunities and additional income to residents.
