A total of 37 blood bags were collected during the blood donation drive organized by the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) in partnership with the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center.

AFAB expressed  sincere gratitude to the residents and members of the FAB community who recently  participated and donated blood during the activity.

AFAB said the support of volunteer donors play a vital role in ensuring that hospitals have sufficient blood supply, particularly during emergencies.

The program was conducted in line with the mandate of the Department of Health under Republic Act No. 7719, which promotes voluntary and non-remunerated blood donation to ensure  safe and adequate blood supply in the country.
