The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), through its Community Services Department Labor Center Division conducted a seminar, “OSH and Wellbeing Seminar: Beyond Compliance – Navigating DOLE 252-25 to Enhance Employee Health and Wellbeing” on August 11, 2025 at the AFAB Auditorium.

The event was led by the Sanitation and Occupational Safety and Health Unit and attended by safety officers and health officers from various organizations within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

The seminar aimed to inform FAB locators about the newly issued Department of Labor and Employment Department Order No. 252-25.

Dr. Joel Andres, Medical Director of International SOS, discussed the provisions of the DOLE order and its practical applications.

Meanwhile, Engr. John Paulo L. Lazaro, Board of Trustee, highlighted the importance of safety leadership in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

AFAB once again demonstrated its commitment to the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of workers in the Freeport.
