The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Corporate Affairs Department took part in the 3rd Central Luzon Sustainable Tourism Summit held September 10–12 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.

The 3-day summit gathered tourism stakeholders, sustainability advocates, and industry leaders to chart the future of sustainable tourism across the region. The participation of AFAB showed its commitment to green development and highlights the emerging role of Bataan Freeport as a prime destination for tourism investments.

With the theme “Building Green Legacies: Sustaining Nature, Celebrating Culture, and Empowering Industry”, the summit underscored the importance of collaborative strategies to protect natural resources, preserve local heritage, and promote economic growth. Organizers and delegates were praised for the success of the event.
