The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has successfully retained its ISO 9001:2015 certification after passing the recertification audit conducted by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. on March 18, 2026, with no recorded nonconformities.
The certification covers the “Provision of Ecozone Development and Zone Management Services for the Freeport Area of Bataan,” reaffirming AFAB’s efficient processes and quality service delivery for investors, workers, and residents within the ecozone.
According to the audit results, AFAB demonstrated strict compliance with international quality management standards, highlighting its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in public service while fulfilling its mandate to manage and develop the Freeport Area of Bataan.
