The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), in partnership with Sunrise Events Inc. Philippines, has stepped up preparations for the highly anticipated 5150 FAB Triathlon Season scheduled this November at the Freeport Area of Bataan.

AFAB officials and representatives of Sunrise Events recently met with officials of the Local Government of Mariveles in a coordination meeting led by Race Director Julian Valencia to finalize event logistics.

The meeting ensured that the Freeport is fully prepared to host athletes, spectators, and partners for the international sporting event.

The 5150 FAB Triathlon marks the first-ever Olympic-distance triathlon to be held in Bataan.

The event is expected to boost tourism and spur economic activity in the Freeport and nearby communities, while also encouraging Bataeños to embrace a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Organizers expressed confidence that the triathlon will not only highlight Bataan as a premier sporting destination but also showcase the natural beauty and hospitality of the province.
