The City Government of Balanga has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Education (DepEd) Central Office for the construction of new school buildings in four public schools.

Mayor Raquel Garcia said the project is a significant investment in providing a safer, more conducive, and better learning environment for learners while addressing the growing need for additional classrooms in the City.

The MOA signing was attended by DepEd Undersecretary Atty. Peter Irving C. Corvera, Assistant Secretary Aurelio Paulo Bartolome, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Roland M. Fronda of the Schools Division Office (SDO) Balanga, and Vice Mayor Francis Garcia.

Mayor Garcia expressed gratitude to DepEd for its continued partnership with the City Government saying the collaboration will help fulfill the dreams of more young Balanga residents by expanding access to quality education.
