In line with the celebration of Bataan’s 268th Foundation Day, the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) awarded P1,620,000.00 to the Bataan Cancer Society and Kids Cancer Warriors on August 04, 2025.

Said donation was part of the proceeds from the Bataan Foundation Day Raffle for a Cause, one of the main activities of the 268^th founding anniversary celebration, where Bataeños had the chance to win 268 exciting prizes including the BESTUNE NAT E05 eclectic vehicle as the major prize. The PGB was able to raise a total of P3,261,611.00.

Out of the aforementioned raised amount, 108 beneficiaries from the Bataan Cancer Society received P15,000.00 each to help cover their medical expenses. More than raising funds, said program also aimed to extend support to Bataeños battling cancer.

As seen from the success of the said program, this serves as a testament to the solidarity and compassion of Bataeños—not only in celebrating significant milestones and rich cultural history of Bataan but also in uplifting the lives of those in need.
