The Provincial Government of Bataan has formally signed a joint venture agreement with QPAX Traffic Systems Inc. and the Public-Private Partnership Investment Center (PPPIC) for the implementation of a digitized traffic enforcement system in the province. The ceremonial signing was held on September 8, Governor Joet Garcia announced.

Under the agreement, QPAX Traffic Systems will serve as the Provincial Government’s partner in rolling out a Single Ticketing System, designed to simplify and expedite the enforcement of traffic laws in Bataan. Governor Garcia noted that the initiative forms part of the province’s push for modernization in public governance and mobility management. The deal follows earlier milestones: a Memorandum of Agreement signed in June and a Certificate of Successful Negotiations completed in August.

QPAX Traffic Systems Inc., a private firm specializing in technology-driven traffic management solutions, has been engaged by various local government units in the Philippines to improve road safety and streamline traffic enforcement through digitization. Its systems typically integrate electronic ticketing, data analytics, and real-time monitoring, helping LGUs ensure more transparent and efficient operations.

The provincial government emphasized that the modernization of traffic enforcement is expected to improve compliance among motorists, reduce congestion, and promote safety on Bataan’s roads.
