Bataan has once again proven its standing as a leader in the Philippine economy by securing a place among the Top 5 Finalists in the prestigious Most Business Friendly (MBF) Local Government Unit (LGU) Awards 2025. This recognition is a testament to the Province’s bold strategy to become a highly livable province and a prime home for diverse economic investments by 2030.
In his defense speech, Congressman Albert S. Garcia shared that Bataan’s aim in bolstering its local economy is built on a “whole-of-government, whole-of-society” approach, with a focus on creating systems that drive the ease of doing business. Cong. Garcia added, “Being one of the early adopters of public-private partnerships with our local ordinance as early as 2013, we are now guided by the PPP Code of the Abilities as our PPP and Investment Center continues to deliver high-impact projects for our citizens.”
This recognition from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) is more than just an award; it’s a powerful validation of Bataan’s comprehensive and collaborative approach to governance. All of these achievements are fueled by the province’s 1Bataan philosophy of unity and its core vision of a “Matatag na Pamilyang Bataeño”.
