Bataan Transport Forum 2026

In line with Bataan’s commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of eco-friendly transportation, the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), headed by Ms. Ludivina Banzon, successfully conducted the Bataan Transport Forum 2026 last March 19, at the 4th Floor Conference Room of The Bunker.

The forum gathered key stakeholders from various agencies and organizations, including the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Standard Insurance Co., MEX Jeep, Genesis Transport, and Bataan Transit, as well as transport cooperatives and corporations. Also present during the event was Bataan 3rd District Board Member Popoy del Rosario.

Among the key topics discussed were the legal, operational, and governance developments under the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP) and related transport reforms. Updates on assistance programs, services, and newly enacted laws from relevant transport agencies were also presented.

The forum likewise served as a platform to address pressing issues, concerns, and challenges faced by transport groups, along with proposed solutions and interventions. In addition, current programs, future plans, and green mobility initiatives for the transport sector in Bataan were also discussed.
