Aimed at improving the lot of farmers, Bataan 3rd District Rep. Gila Garcia is planning to organize a training-workshop for people who had been working on their farms.

The lady solon disclosed during her recent visit to Smarthouse and Nursery in Pantingan, Pilar town, Nursery Greenhouse in Balsik, Hermosa town, Rainshelter Greenhouse in Old San. Jose, Dinalupihan, and Packinghouse and Modular Cold Storage in Sta. Isabel, also in Dinalupihan town that there is a need for farmers training to boost their productivity by learning new technology in farming.

Cong. Gila together with regional officers of Department of Agriculture inspected the greenhouse and storage facilities in preparation for turn-over ceremonies. The cold storage is still under construction.

“Gusto nating mapalakas ang produksyon ng ating mga magsasaka at kailangan din maiayos ang post harvest facilities at sa ganun mapalakas ang kita nila,” said the congresswoman in her social media post.=
