Dinalupihan plans a ‘new’ district hospital

Dinalupihan Mayor Tong Santos is planning to put up a new Dinalupihan District Hospital to project a new image of a “world-class” district health facility.

The mayor held a coordination meeting with representatives of Department of Public Works and Highways, Provincial Engineer’s Office, municipal assessor’s office and Dinalupihan District Hospital to discuss the project.

At the meeting, Mayor Santos tackled the issue of site for the construction of new facilities including the Philippine National Police, PhilPost, National Irrigation Administration, and explained that there is now a need to upgrade offices of national agencies.

Dinalupihan, the only landlocked town in Bataan, is home to a number of big commercial establishments with a population of roughly 125,000 people living in 46 barangays.

Bataan 3rd District Representative Gila Garcia had been pushing Dinalupihan as an Acropolis having produced tons of various vegetables and fruits sold to the region’s malls and restaurants.
