Workers, locators and residents at the sprawling Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) are assured that they are well-secured and protected.
This was the primordial concern tackled at the recently-held security forum hosted by the 702nd Infantry (Defender) Brigade of Philippine Army alongside the representatives of Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), Bureau of Customs, and security officers of private companies in the FAB.
Immediate concerns such as public safety, threat response, immigration matters, and reserve development were among those discussed in the forum.
In its statement through the social media, the Authority in the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) said: “The consultation forum underscored the crucial role of collaboration, and shared responsibility among government agencies, security forces, and the private sector in ensuring a safe and resilient Freeport.”
It added: “Security is not merely a priority but a cornerstone of investor confidence, sustainable growth and community trust.”
The initiative, AFAB said, is a testament of the Authority’s unwavering commitment to protect everyone while nurturing a secure, inclusive and business-friendly environment in the FAB.
