Accurate data and relevant information are crucial to good planning and implementation of development programs for the province of Bataan.

This was emphasized by Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia during the 3rd quarter meeting of Provincial Development Council attended by town mayors and key planning and development officers last September 19 where the Governor discussed different systems of data gathering alongside other government agencies.

The Governor likewise mentioned the important services of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Barangay Information Management System (BIMS) of DILG in coordination with Barangay officials, and Bataeño Pass.

The Bataeño Pass speeds up the services offered by the Provincial Government including financial assistance to local residents. “Sa ganitong paraan, matitiyak na ang mga programa at ayuda ay napupunta sa mga karapat-dapat at tunay na nangangailangan lamang,” explained the governor.
