Governor Joet Garcia expressed full support for the national government’s healthcare initiative “LAB For All” (Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot para sa Lahat), emphasizing its vital role in expanding access to essential medical services, especially for underserved communities.
The LAB for ALL event was held at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, today February 24. Spearheaded by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, the program is part of the administration’s continuing efforts to bring free laboratory services, medical consultations, and medicines closer to Filipinos.
The LAB For All program focuses on preventive care, early diagnosis, and accessible treatment. By bringing essential medical services directly to communities, the initiative aims to improve public health outcomes and ease the burden of healthcare costs on Filipino families.
Gov. Garcia underscored the importance of the initiative, aligning it with the healthcare priorities of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. “Lalo na po itong sinimulan ng ating First Lady na LAB for all, kung saan ay nararamdaman po natin yung mahalagang tulong pangkalusugan sa larangan ng konsultasyon, laboratoryo at gamot.” Garcia said.
He also conveyed his appreciation to key national and local officials who helped bring the program closer to the people, including SBMA Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose Aliño, Department of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, and Public Attorney’s Office Chief Persida Rueda-Acosta, along with fellow public servants from Bataan, Zambales, and Pampanga.
