In line with the Provincial Government of Bataan’s thrust to promote green mobility and provide modern transportation solutions, GrabCar and Xpress have officially launched operations in the province.

The introduction of these services gives Bataeños an additional commuting option, with electric vehicles (EVs) being deployed to ensure sustainable and eco-friendly travel. At present, GrabCar bookings are available in the municipalities of Pilar and Balanga City, while Xpress can be accessed in Pilar, Abucay, and Balanga City.

Governor Joet Garcia emphasized that the initiative is part of his priority program to deliver safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation for every Bataeño. He also expressed optimism that, in the coming months, GrabCar and Xpress will expand their coverage to more towns across the province.
