Limay municipal employees take drug test

Philippine Standard Time:

Limay municipal employees take drug test

The municipal employees of Limay, underwent random drug test conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Limay PNP.

The random drug test was spearheaded by Mayor Richie Jason David and Vice Mayor Marie Grace David who themselves took the test as manifestation of genuine effort to join in the no-nonsense campaign against illegal drugs.

The drug testing effort was part of the municipal government’s mental health program which delivers the important message to its constituents: “Mahalaga ang healthy, safe, at drug-free workplace.”

Mayor David, however, has yet to disclose whether there was anyone who tested positive after the drug test. The police and PDEA would not reveal the result, either, without the consent of local government.
