The Municipal Government of Mariveles has officially released the Calendar of Activities for the 81st Landing Anniversary in Mariveles, scheduled from February 13 to February 27, 2026.

This year’s commemoration carries the theme “Heritage of History: Freedom, Strength, and the People’s Triumph,” honoring Mariveles’ historic role in the country’s fight for liberation.

The celebration opens on February 13 with the Mariveles 26th Inter-High School Opening at the Mariveles Sports Complex, followed by a Thanksgiving Night on February 14. On February 15, the town will hold the Landing in Mariveles Commemoration at the Landing in Mariveles Memorial Park, alongside a Civic Parade and LGU Night at the municipal grounds and People’s Park.

Activities continue on February 16 with Educator’s Night, recognizing the contribution of teachers to community development. The following day, February 17, features the Barangay and SK Solidarity Day and Market Night, highlighting grassroots unity and local enterprise.

Major crowd-drawing events are also lined up, including Miss Gay Mariveles on February 18 and the Stakeholders Awarding 2026: Pasasalamat at Pagkilala on February 19. On February 20, the municipality will host the Binyagang Bayan in Cabcaben and the coronation night of Binibining Mariveles 2026 at Mariveles People’s Park.

The festivities continue with La Torre and Serenata on February 21, followed by the Creative and Cultural Dance showcase and Liberation Concert on February 22. The celebration culminates on February 27 with the Mariveles Freedom March at the Municipal Compound.

Municipal officials, led by Mayor Kuya AJ Concepcion, Vice Mayor Jesse Concepcion, and the Sangguniang Bayan, encouraged residents and visitors alike to take part in the events that honor Mariveles’ history, unity, and continuing progress.
