Massive floodings that occur during rainy season, typhoon and other weather disturbance will soon be monitored and controlled through AI or artificial intelligence.

This technology may be applied in Bataan following Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia‘s recent meeting with representatives of Artea Green Ventures, an Autralia-based environmental consulting firm.

With the firm’s modern technology using AI, the threat of massive flooding and destructive erosion can be monitored making it easy for local government to act swiftly to save lives and properties.

Gov. Garcia said the new technology aligns with the completion of Bataan Cavite Interlink Bridge. “This will redound to safe and orderly situation to meet the challenges of climate change,” said the governor.

“We continuously exert effort to establish connection with public and private sector for the modern method to enhance security and safety of the province now and for the next generation,” Gov. Joet added.
