Mariveles Mental Wellness and General Hospital (MMWGH) inaugurated its new general hospital building yesterday, July 28, 2026, as part of its 71st founding anniversary, expanding healthcare services for residents in Mariveles and nearby communities.

Medical Center Chief Dr. Dennis Dayao Ordoña thanked government partners, stakeholders, and supporters who helped make the project possible, saying the new facility strengthens the hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare.

The new building houses a clinical laboratory, ultrasound, digital X-ray, CT scan, surgery, pediatric, and other essential medical services.

Third District Board Member Dr. Jorge Estanislao attended the inauguration and congratulated the MMWGH team for the completion of the facility, recognizing its role in improving public healthcare in the province.
