
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (PBBM) visited Bataan on Tuesday, September 2, to inspect local facilities aimed at providing direct services to residents of Bataan.
After touring the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC), the President proceeded to the 1Bataan Bagong Pilipinas Integrated Action Center (1BBPIAC), which serves as a one-stop shop for medical and financial assistance.
He was welcomed by Governor Joet Garcia, 1st District Representative Cong. Tony Roman III, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, 2nd District Representative Cong. Albert “Abet” Garcia and other provincial officials. They presented to the President the center’s operations, emphasizing its quick response system and streamlined processing of client requests.
President Marcos also interacted with pupils of the PGB Child Development program who were holding classes inside the facility. He was likewise briefed on the Bataan Healthy School Setting Program, which provides nutritious meals and promotes healthy habits among schoolchildren.
The President’s visit reaffirmed the strong collaboration between the national and provincial government; showing that the Province of Bataan remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering efficient, inclusive, and innovative public service for the benefit of its people.
