Tugon–Solar Spark Street Lights program in Morong

AboitizPower private limited partnerships GNPower Mariveles Energy Center (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) with Peninsula Electric Cooperative (Penelco) donated 56 units of 300-watt solar street lights to the Municipality of Morong.

The donation is in line with the 2026 Tugon–Solar Spark Street Lights program which is being spearheaded by Penelco aiming safer and more sustainable community in Morong.

The Municipal Government of Morong headed by Mayor Leila G. Linao-Muñoz and other local officials received the donation. The program is expected to enhance safety and improve visibility along the municipality’s major roads particularly at night. Beyond improving road safety, the program also promotes the use of renewable energy.

Mayor Linao-Munoz thanked Penelco, GMEC and GNPD for the support.
