Pilar Christmas lights, inspired by marine lives

Christmas lights in Pilar, Bataan was a showcase of different marine lives including the popular crab or “alimango” which has become a head turner.

The Yuletide lights switch on was a well-attended event last Sunday. It was preceded by an awarding of certificates of appreciation to employees and chiefs of offices who exerted effort to make this year’s Christmas meaningful and memorable.

Mayor Charlie Pizarro said this year’s theme which centered on seafoods and marine lives is an idea that is most welcomed among people behind the project including the municipal identification video featuring scenes of economic boom in Pilar.

The more or less 10-minute firework display was an added attraction that seemed like a New Year celebration.
