The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) is launching the 5150 FAB Triathlon—Bataan’s first-ever Olympic-distance triathlon. In collaboration with the IRONMAN Group’s Sunrise Events Inc., the race that will take place on November 16, 2025 marks a major milestone as the FAB enters the sports tourism scene.

“This is a proud moment for us,” said Pangandaman. “Hosting the 5150 Triathlon highlights the Freeport’s potential to stage world-class athletic events and boost tourism and the local economy.”

With Mariveles offering scenic coastal views, green landscapes, and quality infrastructure, FAB is ready to become a prime destination for triathlon events.
