The Balanga City government has announced its tax amnesty program effective October 1 to December 30, 2021 wherein 50 percent of interest or penalty will be waived.

Joselito Evangalista, city treasurer, said the city government stands to collect more than P153 million in real property tax delinquency this year. But taxpayers should avail of the amnesty at 20 percent.

Target collection in the tax amnesty program amounts to P24,581,262.58. The city government is ready to give up P6million.
