The Provincial Government of Bataan sealed a memorandum of agreement with San Miguel Global Power Foundation to carry out various projects on environment. The environmental undertakings involved: the Forest for Life project SusTREEnability for 1Bataan in the towns of Mariveles, Orion and Limay; Orion Mangrove Adoption and Protection Project; and Balance and Healthful Life Underwater Ecology (Project BLUE) Hellow Pawikan Project in Bagac.

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia signed the multi-party MOA with DENR Regional Director Ralp Pablo, SMGP Holding Corp.AVP/HR head division office Danilo Tolarba, Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion and Third District Board Member Popoy del Rosario.

With those undertakings on environmental concerns Bataan leads among CL provinces with the most number of life-sustaining projects that propel the province to progress.
