The Office of the Governor is the executive arm of the Provincial Government. The Provincial Governor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Provincial Government and he exercises executive functions therein and general supervision over the government of the municipalities and other political subdivisions situated in it.
As the Chief Executive of the Provincial Government, the Provincial Governor, with the assistance of all provincial and national offices in the province aims to help the government in attaining its overall goal of strengthening its managerial and technical capability to effectively respond to rural needs, free lower transportation costs, access to equitable taxation, expanded investment and rural employment opportunities.
To accomplish these objectives, he will provide necessary leadership in the socio-economic development efforts of the province and will see to it that all national and provincial progress are properly executed in the province. Through the different provincial offices, he will undertake projects that are calculated to alleviate the living condition of the masses.
Mandate: Manages and supervises the PGO staff including the financial processing unit and social services except IAS, OSM, MIS, BPPPIC, Iskolar ng Bataan, Cultural Heritage and Preservation, Housing and other community affairs programs that shall remain under the direct supervision of the Provincial Administrator.
