The municipal government of Limay has started distributing financial assistance to needy students enrolled in various private schools even those outside the municipality for as long as they are residents of Limay.
Mayor Nelson C. David said 2,000 deserving students will receive financial assistance ranging from P5,000 to P7,000 in checks payable to a school where a student is enrolled.
The financial assistance is given in check to ensure that the money goes directly to the school or university where the student is enrolled.
To avail of the assistance, students are required to comply with the requirements set by the municipal government.
