Local and foreign investors continuously come to the bustling Freeport Area of Bataan for convenience and perks plus good facilities.
This is the very intent of RA 11453, an act that allows expansion of the FAB. “We only encourage the local government units to (LGUs) to concur and to allow the investors prepare an area and support facilities like housing, schools and other amenities,” Engr. Emmanuel D. Pineda, the administrator of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan, said during his 4th State of the Freeport Address (Sofa) last weekend.
Already, the FAB has 16 expansion areas throughout the province, with a total of 3,084 hectares of land intended for various types of economic activities.
