Now on its 24th year, Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair, has proven to be an effective venue to promote products of the region to buyers and exporters based in Metro Manila and has become one of the most awaited trade events because of its distinctive and quality products that the region has to offer.
With more than 140 MSME’s participating from the seven (7) provinces of the region with their Provincial brand names namely, “Siempre Aurora” (prov. of Aurora); “Galing Bataan” (Bataan); “tatak Bulakenyo” (Bulacan); “taas Noo Novo Ecijano” (Nueva Ecija); “Love Pampanga” (Pampanga); “Natural Tarlac” (Tarlac) and “Zambales Finest” (Zambales) each will be outdoing its best.
Bataan aims to gross 1.5M as part of the LCL goal of 15M in total gross sales of the whole region. Newly developed products, packaging and label designs under the Shared Service Facility (SSF) and OTOP Next Gen program of DTI will be the highlights of the Fair.
“Galing Bataan” for its part will be promoting a new coffee taste called “Langkape” from the langka (jackfruit) flavor, which DTI believes will be another feat of Galing Bataan, now that coffee is a generation trend.
DTI-Bataan Bussiness Development Division Chief Connie Sanico said that Phil-Export will be one of the cooperating partners in the Trade Fair along with the Regional Development Council 3, Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation, Phil. Information Agency, seven (7) provinces of Region 3, SMED Councils and DTI attached agencies.
