A total of 338 residents from the first district of Bataan will benefit from the TUPAD program, through the initiative of Board Member Tony Roman.
The beneficiaries are from the towns of Orani and Hermosa. Each beneficiary will receive P5,000 for ten days of work in their communities. During a recent orientation program, Roman expressed his gratitude to Senator Jinggoy Estrada for providing the funding necessary to support the program for his constituents. He also thanked the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for their support.
TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker, is a community-based initiative aimed at providing temporary employment to displaced workers. Board Member Roman continues to engage with government officials and agencies to secure additional assistance for the residents of the first district of Bataan.
