Pusong Pinoy Partylist Representative Jett Nisay said during a recent press briefing that he had 80 CHED Smart college scholars from all over Bataan for 2023. The scholarship provides one-time fixed grant of P25, 000.00.

In choosing beneficiaries, Nisay said he prioritizes students involved in extracurricular activities that bring pride to the province. He believes that by supporting and recognizing students who excel not only academically, but also in other areas, he is able to contribute to the overall development of the province.

Other members of Congress usually use academic achievement as a criteria for choosing their CHED Smart scholars. Nisay said he is working to increase the number of CHED Smart scholars for 2024.
