A total of 850 residents from the First District of Bataan will benefit from the TUPAD program, thanks to the initiative of Board Member Tony Roman. Each beneficiary will receive P5,000 for ten days of work in their communities.
During a recent orientation, Roman expressed his gratitude to Senator Bong Go and Speaker Martin Romualdez for providing the funds to support the program for his constituents. He also thanked the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for their support. TUPAD, or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Worker, is a community-based initiative aimed at providing temporary employment to displaced workers. Board Member Roman continues to engage with government officials and agencies to secure additional assistance for the residents of the first district of Bataan.
