Abucay Food Bazaar attracts Christmas shoppers

With Christmas Day just around the corner, local residents tend to go malling, but after the shopping spree they try to go on food trip to satisfy their craving for local foods and just anything they want to test taste.

Abucay town Mayor Robin Tagle recommends the now becoming popular Abucay Food Bazaar located within the compound of the town hall. The said food bazaar is attracting promenaders from all walks of life. Even more so after it was featured in a morning show “Unang Hirit” of GMA 7.

The food bazaar offers “bibingka,” “puto bumbong,” rice cake, local dishes, and even lechon and other meat products. The mayor said the “attraction” was started years back as the Christmas season starts and it continued to gain clients from other Bataan towns and even residents from neighboring provinces. People who had been to Abucay Food Bazaar had been spreading the news about foods and other Pinoy favorite delicacies prompting hundreds of curious individuals to troop to Abucay with friends. About the price, it was affordable, says one client who bought “pasalubong” for the family.
