Abucay opens ‘Himlayan’ chapel

Our departed loved ones deserve decent and dignified funeral services but affordable enough for the residents. This was what in Abucay Mayor Robin Tagle’s mind when he opened last November 1 the “Himlayang Abukeno Memorial Chapel” where local folks will hold comfortable wake for their departed kins.

Mayor Tagle said the facility is complete with free wi-fi, smart TV, and toilet for the people attending the wake. “Layunin natin na mabigyan ng dignidad at paggalang ang ating namayapang kamag-anak,” dagdag pa ng alkalde.
