The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) held its 11th Annual Stakeholders’ Night on August 6, 2024, at the AFAB Administration Building in Mariveles, Bataan. The event celebrated the collective achievements of AFAB’s partners and stakeholders, highlighting their contributions to the Freeport’s growth.

AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman opened the evening by acknowledging the progress made over the past year and the crucial role played by the workforce and enterprises within the Freeport. He emphasized the continuous efforts to develop AFAB into a stronger organization. During the event, AFAB presented 56 awards to honor outstanding achievements in various categories, including Top Exporter, Top Employer, and Best HR Practices. Special awards recognized excellence in community building, workplace safety, and industrial peace, among others.

The Overall Best FAB Enterprise Award was given to companies excelling across multiple categories. Speeches from AFAB leaders, including Atty. Percival B. Peralta and Ma. Lourdes L. Herrera, highlighted the importance of collaboration and mutual respect among stakeholders to maintain a harmonious and thriving business environment. The night concluded with a sense of pride and anticipation for continued progress and partnership in the coming year.
