The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), through its Enterprise Assistance Division (EAD), successfully conducted a comprehensive orientation session today as part of the Authority’s Enterprise Department (FED) Week. The event was held at the AFAB Auditorium and AFAB AVR 3, aiming to enhance stakeholder awareness of essential policies, procedures, and reporting requirements for businesses operating within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
Participants included representatives from FAB-registered enterprises, brokers, forwarders, newly hired IMPEX/logistics personnel, and business license holders. Separate sessions were conducted to ensure the widest possible dissemination of vital information to the diverse stakeholder groups.
The orientation focused on providing stakeholders, including authorized representatives, brokers, and forwarders, with the necessary guidelines to facilitate the efficient processing of inbound and outbound goods within FAB and its expanding zones. By equipping participants with this crucial knowledge, the event sought to streamline business operations and expedite transactions within the FAB environment.
The initiative reflects AFAB’s ongoing commitment to supporting its business community’s success by ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed and compliant with regulations. This proactive approach helps enterprises operate efficiently and smoothly while adhering to established guidelines.
AFAB emphasized its dedication to fostering a supportive environment for FAB Registered Enterprises (FREs) and business licensees, promoting sustainable growth and operational excellence. By empowering stakeholders with timely and relevant information, AFAB reinforces its mission to drive long-term success within the Freeport Area of Bataan.
