Foreign investors from the Republic of China, led by Director General Qian Fangli of the Department of Electronic Commerce and Information – Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), visited the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan last Saturday, April 15, to further promote the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and explore industrial cooperation between the two countries.

The team also visited specific areas within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) that show potentials in e-commerce, warehousing, and logistics.

To increase investor confidence, Board Member Romano “Popoy” Del Rosario and MBDA General Manager Christopher Pizarro toured the delegates around the 1Bataan Command Center to demonstrate the technological processes that ensure the safety of travel to and around Bataan.

Also part of the delegation were Minister Counselor Yang Guoliang of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy, representatives from the Philippine-China Economic Cooperative Industrial Park Inc. (PCECIP) headed by Chairperson Xiaojing T. Lou, and members of the Philippine E-COM United Association headed by President Zhou Ting.
