The leading manufacturer of premium bag at the Freeport Area of Bataan was awarded “overall best FAB enterprise award” during last Tuesday’s 11th FAB Stakeholder’s Night.

First placer was the Perpetual Prime Manufacturing, Inc., maker of premium bag for export to US and Europe. Second place went to Essilor Manufacturing Philippines, Inc., and third place, Surex Safe Venture, Inc. Essilor manufactures lenses and frames since 1979 during the era of Bataan Export Processing Zone, while Surex Safe Venture is known for churning out safety shoes, B-grade.

Scores of other awards such as top exporter, top employer, community building champion, outstanding job performance, leadership award, and loyalty award were given to deserving FAB enterprises and individuals.

Administrator and chief executive officer Hussein P. Pangandaman said the Freeport will continue to achieve milestone through the cooperation of enterprises and the community. “We will continue to develop and fortify the AFAB into a stronger organization to deliver the goals laid out in our charter,” he added.
