In a strong push toward sustainable and innovative transportation, the Provincial Government of Bataan officially launched the Xpress last July 29, 2025 a transport network company (TNC) accredited by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). The launch took place at the GIA Commercial Building in Brgy. Tenejero, Balanga City.
Vice Governor Cris Garcia, who led the launching ceremony, emphasized the significance of the project in promoting clean and sustainable transportation in the province.
“More than anything else, this project is in alignment with our Green Transport Goals. As it supports our government’s promotion of sustainable and eco-friendly transport solutions, it likewise reinforces Bataan’s commitment to clean mobility and innovation,” said Vice Gov. Cris Garcia.
Xpress is part of the national Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) program, and Bataan has been allotted 150 TNVS slots for this initiative. With the opening of the Xpress office, applications are now officially being accepted.
The introduction of Xpress provides an additional mode of transportation in the province that is faster, more affordable, and powered by electric vehicles, highlighting Bataan’s ongoing shift toward environmentally conscious mobility.
Joining Vice Governor Garcia at the launch were Board Members Popoy Del Rosario and Vic Baluyot, Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Officer (PCEDO) Ludivina Banzon, and Xpress Chief of Staff Alyssa Duldulao.
