Bataan adopts sustainability plan for exiting 4Ps beneficiaries

Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia passed an ordinance adopting the Bataan Sustainability Plan for Exited 4Ps Beneficiaries during its 129th regular session on April 3, 2025.

The initiative aligns with Republic Act No. 11310, or the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Act, ensuring continued support for families who have graduated from the 4Ps program.

The Bataan Sustainability Plan is a product of collaborative efforts led by the Provincial Government of Bataan through the 4Ps Provincial Advisory Committee.

The plan is designed to provide sustained access to quality healthcare, nutrition, education, and essential social protection services for former 4Ps beneficiaries. The ordinance was sponsored by Board Member Iya Roque.

The legislation is part of the continuous efforts of Gov. Joet Garcia and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to uplift the marginalized sector in Bataan.
